Overview

This role is for a senior technical resource responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and support of Oracle Retail applications. The primary focus is RMS and Allocation, with additional responsibility for supporting integrations across the broader Oracle Retail v11 suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of PL/SQL packages, procedures, batch jobs, and customizations for RMS and Allocation.
• Develop, customize, and support Oracle Retail RMS and Allocation modules.
• Write and maintain PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, and triggers for RMS and Allocation.
• Fix bugs, apply patches, and troubleshoot batch job or integration failures.
• Support item, purchase order, inventory, and allocation rule setup and data issues.
• Write SQL queries for data validation, extraction, and reconciliation.
• Assist with unit testing, UAT support, and technical documentation.
• Own end-to-end troubleshooting of complex issues, including batch failures, data mismatches, and performance bottlenecks across RMS, Allocation, and related modules.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Drive impact analysis, technical design documentation, and solutioning for enhancements and patches.
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Ensure data integrity across item, purchase order, inventory, allocation, and financial data flows, including ReSA.
• Support release management, deployment planning, and production go-live activities.

Required Skills

• Advanced PL/SQL and SQL
• RMS and Allocation data model expertise
• Working knowledge of the full Oracle Retail v11 suite
• Unix shell scripting
• Batch scheduling using Autosys or Control-M
• Performance tuning
• Integration through RIB messaging

• Mode: Remote for both the req (Initial 1 week in Bangalore; thereafter Remote)
