Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and evolving the products that sit at the heart of our technology ecosystem. Working in a cloud-native environment, you’ll deliver high-quality features across the entire stack, front-end, back-end, APIs, and data integrations while championing engineering excellence and modern development best practices.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product & Platform teams to build secure, scalable, and user-centric applications that support the company’s technology-led transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications, covering UI, back-end services, APIs, and data orchestration.
• Lead feature development end-to-end, from technical design and architecture through to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, applying modern engineering best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate with platform and DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployments, strong observability, and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, championing code reviews, test automation, and continuous improvement.
• Own technical design documents and contribute to wider engineering documentation and standards.
• Participate in a Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, architecture discussions, estimation, and delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, using logs, metrics, traces, and diagnostics tools to identify root causes.
• Influence architectural decisions, helping shape the future evolution of our platforms and services.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and helping raise the bar across the team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years full-stack engineering experience, ideally in cloud-native or SaaS environments.
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (preferably React [Vite]) and component-based design.
• Solid experience with back-end languages and frameworks (preferably ASP .NET and Python).
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, API design principles, and microservices.
• Experience with GCP or another hyperscaler, including integration with cloud services and managed databases.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release automation.
• Strong grasp of testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E) and tooling.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, schema design, and performance optimisation.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and platform-level security considerations.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Cloud Run, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using logs, metrics, traces, and profiling tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience integrating with Financial and Banking systems desired but not required.
