Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PeopleSoft Academic Advisement Consultant with expertise in Academic Advisement within Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience configuring academic requirements, degree audits, curriculum structures, and advising rules for higher education institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Academic Advisement rules, requirement groups, and degree audit structures.
• Design and support academic programs, plans, sub-plans, and curriculum configurations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable PeopleSoft solutions.
• Troubleshoot Academic Advisement issues and optimize system performance.
• Develop customizations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, and PeopleTools.
• Support integrations with external systems using Integration Broker.
• Participate in testing, deployments, production support, and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with academic stakeholders to implement business requirements.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation.

Required Skills

• 5–6 years of experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Strong expertise in Academic Advisement.
• Experience with PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQL, Application Engine, Component Interface, and SQR.
• Strong understanding of higher education academic processes.
• Experience with Integration Broker and Oracle Database.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Degree Audit implementation.
• Knowledge of Student Records and Campus Solutions architecture.
• Exposure to PeopleSoft Fluid UI.
