Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP R/3 4.7 Warehouse Management (WM) Configuration Consultant with deep expertise in legacy SAP ERP environments. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP WM processes in an SAP 4.7 landscape while collaborating with business users to enhance warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration, warehouse process design, and integration with Inventory Management (IM), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD). SAP WM in ECC 4.7 supports warehouse operations such as storage bin management, goods movements, transfer orders, inventory, and RF integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP R/3 4.7 Warehouse Management (WM).
• Configure warehouse structure including:
• Warehouse Numbers
• Storage Types
• Storage Sections
• Storage Bins
• Storage Units
• Configure inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Configure transfer requirements, transfer orders, and stock removal strategies.
• Configure putaway strategies and picking strategies.
• Support physical inventory and cycle counting processes.
• Configure movement types and warehouse process customization.
• Integrate SAP WM with:
• Inventory Management (IM)
• Materials Management (MM)
• Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Support barcode and RF-based warehouse operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare functional specifications and support testing (SIT/UAT).
