Role: Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

Experience: 3–4 Years

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: 4 Months

Joining: Immediate Joiners Only

Key Responsibilities

• Profiling source data across digital and manual sources
• Building extracts and load scripts
• Running test loads and technical checks — counts, IDs, links, rejects and finance continuity
• Supporting decisions around common lists, dimensions and master data
• Proving the runbook and actual execution timings through the pilot
• Supporting the first manual-entry pilot

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Fabric Workspaces, Lakehouses, SQL Endpoints, Data Pipelines & Notebooks
• Strong Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience
• ETL/ELT pipeline development and orchestration
• Parameterization, dynamic content, triggers, monitoring & error handling
• Strong understanding of Lakehouse & Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Strong Apache Spark / PySpark experience
• SQL – Mandatory
• PySpark transformations – Mandatory
• Data pipeline troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Data quality, integrity and validation
• Azure DevOps / CI-CD exposure is preferred
• Purview / RBAC knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills

Other Details

The core requirement is hands-on Microsoft Fabric + ADF experience, with strong SQL and PySpark capabilities.
