Experience Required: 5+ Years (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)

Certification: SFCC Certification Mandatory

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in backend development across both SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) and PWA Kit platforms, along with strong operational knowledge of Business Manager. This role requires a solid understanding of SFCC's core architecture, integration patterns, and API ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend functionality on SFCC using SFRA and PWA Kit (headless commerce) platforms
• Build and manage custom Jobs for automated data processing and scheduled tasks
• Implement and extend Hooks to customize out-of-the-box SFCC behavior
• Optimize application performance through effective caching strategies
• Develop and integrate SCAPI (Shopper APIs / Commerce APIs) and OCAPI endpoints for headless and third-party integrations
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Payment Gateway integrations
• Perform day-to-day Business Manager (BM) operations, including configuration, site preferences, and catalog/pricing management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, architects, and product owners) to deliver scalable eCommerce solutions
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within SLA
• Follow SFCC best practices for code quality, security, and performance

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
• SFCC Developer Certification — mandatory
• Strong backend development experience with SFRA
• Practical experience building/integrating with PWA Kit (headless storefronts)
• Solid understanding of Business Manager operations and configurations
• Proven experience with:
• Custom Jobs and job scheduling
• Hooks implementation
• Caching mechanisms (page cache, API cache)
• SCAPI and OCAPI (REST-based APIs)
• Payment gateway integrations
• Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes (catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout)
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
