Microsoft Fabric RTI Engineer – Real-Time Data Streaming

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric RTI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence, OneLake, Eventhouse, and real-time data streaming.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing real-time data solutions, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and querying. The ideal candidate should have strong technical design experience and the ability to address performance requirements related to latency and throughput.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain real-time data solutions using Microsoft Fabric RTI.
  • Design and implement real-time data ingestion and streaming pipelines.
  • Work with OneLake and Eventhouse for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Develop data-processing solutions using PySpark or Java.
  • Build efficient workflows for ingesting, processing, and querying real-time data.
  • Design scalable and high-performance streaming architectures.
  • Analyze and optimize data-processing latency and throughput.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and solution reviews.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams.
  • Troubleshoot data-ingestion, processing, and querying issues.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Skills

  • 5–8 years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Hands-on expertise in Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (RTI).
  • Strong experience with OneLake and Eventhouse.
  • Strong knowledge of real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience using PySpark or Java for data processing.
  • Experience with data ingestion, processing, and querying using Eventhouse.
  • Experience in technical design and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of latency and throughput optimization.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Event Hubs, Eventstreams, or similar streaming technologies.
  • Knowledge of KQL and real-time analytics.
  • Experience with distributed data-processing platforms.
  • Exposure to Azure cloud services and data-engineering tools.
