Job Description – Tableau Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tableau Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Tableau development, Tableau Cloud, SQL, data visualization, and enterprise reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Work extensively with FIXED / INCLUDE / EXCLUDE LOD expressions.
  • Develop complex SQL queries using CTEs, subqueries, window functions, joins, aggregations, etc.
  • Perform dashboard optimization and performance tuning.
  • Work with Tableau Server/Cloud, publishing, permissions, user access and RLS.
  • Build dashboards independently based on business requirements.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation and UAT.
  • Gather requirements and interact with business stakeholders.
  • Work with multiple data sources and create optimized data models.
  • Follow Tableau visualization and dashboard development best practices.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of Tableau development experience
  • Strong Tableau Desktop / Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud
  • FIXED / INCLUDE / EXCLUDE LOD Expressions
  • Advanced SQL
  • CTEs, Subqueries & Window Functions
  • Complex SQL Queries
  • Independent Tableau Dashboard Development
  • RLS, Parameters, Sets & Table Calculations
  • Dashboard Performance Optimization
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
