Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios.
• Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
• Perform API testing and validate backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards.
• Maintain proper QA documentation and testing reports.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing.
• Experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress or similar automation tools.
• Good knowledge of API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Experience with Jira or similar defect-management tools.
• Good understanding of Automation Frameworks.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Java / Python / JavaScript for automation.
• Experience with Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
