Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and strong hands-on Java Developer with 5–8 years of experience in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Algorithms, and Application Security, with hands-on experience implementing JWT-based authentication and authorization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and distributed applications.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
• Develop secure APIs using Spring Security, JWT, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and secure user/service authentication.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and problem-solving to develop efficient solutions.
• Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform debugging and performance optimization.
• Ensure applications follow security, coding, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, product, and other engineering teams.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production support.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17+
• Excellent experience with Spring Boot
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms
• Hands-on experience with Spring Security
• Strong understanding of:
• Authentication
• Authorization
• JWT
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Secure API development
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, exception handling, and multithreading
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Strong coding ability with experience writing production-grade applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP
• Experience with JUnit/Mockito and automated testing
