The Senior ServiceNow Consultant acts as the lead developer and technical implementer responsible for translating architectural designs into scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions. The role involves hands-on development, integrations, mentoring junior resources, and ensuring adherence to platform standards and best practices.

• Solution Development
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Develop advanced:
    • Business Rules
    • Script Includes
    • Client Scripts
    • UI Policies
    • UI Actions
    • Flow Designer Workflows
    • Catalog Items
    • Record Producers
  • Build custom applications using App Engine.
  • Develop Service Portal and Employee Center components.
• Integration Development
  • Build and maintain:
    • REST integrations
    • SOAP integrations
    • IntegrationHub integrations
    • Custom Spokes
    • Webhook integrations
  • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
• Service Portal Development
  • Develop and enhance:
    • Service Portal Widgets
    • AngularJS Components
    • HTML/CSS based interfaces
    • Employee Center experiences
• CMDB & Platform Administration
  • Support CMDB implementation and governance.
  • Implement CSDM standards.
  • Participate in Discovery and Service Mapping activities.
  • Perform instance hardening and platform optimization.
• Data Migration & Testing
  • Lead data migration and transformation activities.
  • Develop and execute ATF (Automated Test Framework) test cases.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
• Technical Leadership
  • Lead technical discovery workshops.
  • Provide technical effort estimation for user stories.
  • Conduct code reviews and peer reviews.
  • Mentor Junior Consultants.
  • Ensure adherence to architecture and coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Certifications

• Mandatory
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Strongly Preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Highly Preferred
  • Minimum Two CIS Certifications such as:
    • CIS-ITSM
    • CIS-Discovery
