Job Description

Salesforce CRM Architect

Overview

Experience: 7+ years

Domain: Salesforce

Start Date: Immediate

Work Timings: US Shift (1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST)

Work Location: Remote

We are hiring a Salesforce CRM Architect to own the core Sales Cloud and Service Cloud architecture underpinning the platform that unifies the entire Salesforce ecosystem, spanning Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA). You will design the canonical data model, security model, and integration patterns that let dozens of brands operate on a single, shared Salesforce org without stepping on each other — while ensuring the platform scales cleanly as new brands migrate. This is a hands-on architecture role: you'll drive design decisions, review and guide implementation work across pods, and partner closely with the Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Revenue Cloud architects to keep the broader ecosystem coherent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end CRM architecture for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud within the multi-brand organization, including data model, sharing/security model, and automation strategy.
  • Design a canonical, extensible object and data model that supports roughly 30 brands operating on a shared platform, balancing brand-specific needs against long-term maintainability.
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and governance across application pods to keep the platform consistent as new brands migrate onto the existing ecosystem.
  • Lead technical discovery and solution design for brand migrations — assessing legacy CRM instances, mapping data and process gaps, and designing the target-state Salesforce architecture.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, NetSuite/ERP, Revenue Cloud, and third-party applications) using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar), and event-driven patterns.
  • Architect and guide large-scale data migration and integration strategies, including deduplication, matching/merge logic, and data quality governance across brands.
  • Partner with the Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Revenue Cloud Advanced architects to ensure a coherent, well-governed platform architecture end to end.
  • Evaluate platform capabilities (Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Agentforce, Einstein) and make build-vs-configure and buy-vs-build recommendations.
  • Conduct architecture and code reviews, mentor developers and admins across pods, and maintain solution and system architecture documentation, including ERDs.
  • Guide environment strategy, release management, and CI/CD practices (e.g., Copado) in partnership with the DevOps and QA (Provar) functions.
  • Monitor platform health — org limits, technical debt, performance — and proactively recommend remediation as the org scales.
  • Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation enhancements across migrating brands, working within the 5x pod delivery model.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, including significant time in an architect-level role spanning Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Proven experience designing and governing a shared, multi-org or multi-brand Salesforce data model at enterprise scale.
  • Strong grounding in Salesforce security architecture (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, territory management) in a multi-tenant-style environment.
  • Exposure to AI powered development, Generative AI, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation.
  • Hands-on experience with declarative and programmatic customization (Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components) and knowing when each is the right tool.
  • Experience architecting integrations across a broader Salesforce ecosystem (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud) and external systems such as ERP/NetSuite.
  • Experience leading data migration and consolidation efforts, including large-scale data cleansing, deduplication, and cutover planning.
  • Familiarity with Agentforce and Einstein, and an interest in applying AI-driven capabilities within the CRM.
  • Comfortable operating within a multi-brand, multi-pod delivery model and collaborating across distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical architecture for executive and non-technical audiences.

Certifications

  • Active Salesforce certifications required or strongly preferred: Application Architect, System Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I & II, and Integration Architecture Designer.
  • Agentforce certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience on a large-scale Salesforce platform consolidation or brand-migration program.
  • Exposure to Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or Revenue Cloud Advanced within a shared enterprise Salesforce org.
  • Experience with Flosum or similar CI/CD and test-automation tooling in a Salesforce DevOps pipeline.
