Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in Salesforce testing, integration testing, and ERP systems exposure.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications and integrations with external systems, along with a good understanding of end-to-end business processes and ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct Salesforce integration testing with external applications, APIs, middleware, and ERP systems.
• Validate data flow between Salesforce and ERP/third-party systems.
• Test REST/SOAP APIs and validate request/response payloads.
• Perform end-to-end testing of business processes across Salesforce and integrated applications.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect-management platforms.
• Perform regression testing following Salesforce releases, configuration changes, and deployments.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, Integration Teams, and ERP teams to understand requirements and define appropriate test coverage.
• Validate data integrity, synchronization, transformation, and error handling across integrated systems.
• Support UAT activities and production validation when required.
• Analyze defects and assist development teams with root-cause identification.
• Maintain QA documentation, test evidence, traceability, and testing reports.

Mandatory Skills

• Salesforce QA
• 5+ years of relevant Salesforce testing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and business processes.
• Experience with Salesforce functional and regression testing.
• Testing of Salesforce configurations, workflows, validations, reports, and integrations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce releases and deployment validation.
• Integration Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in integration and end-to-end testing.
• REST/SOAP API testing.
• JSON/XML validation.
• Experience testing data synchronization between Salesforce and external applications.
• Understanding of middleware/integration platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of integration failure scenarios, error handling, and data reconciliation.
• ERP Exposure
• Prior experience working with ERP systems and ERP integrations.
• Understanding of business processes such as Order Management, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Inventory, or Customer Management.
• Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems will be preferred.
• Testing Tools & Methodologies
• Jira / Azure DevOps or similar defect-management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Test case management and defect lifecycle.
• Regression, smoke, sanity, functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills

• API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database/data validation.
• Understanding of Salesforce APIs and integration architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD and Salesforce deployment processes.
• Knowledge of automation testing is an added advantage.

Key Requirements
