Key Responsibilities

• Application Design & Development
  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications, APIs, batch processes, and integrations using modern development frameworks and technologies.
  • Build scalable and maintainable solutions utilizing .NET, C, Python, TypeScript, Angular, SQL Server, MySQL, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations to support enterprise business processes.
  • Create reusable application components and services following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in solution design, technical architecture reviews, and technology evaluations.
• Cloud Engineering & Infrastructure
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions within AWS.
  • Develop and optimize applications leveraging AWS services such as: Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon ECS/EKS, AWS API Gateway, AWS Secrets Manager and others.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to establish highly available, secure, and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
• AI-Assisted Development & Innovation
  • Utilize AI-enabled development tools to accelerate software delivery and improve development efficiency.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, and intelligent automation tools to improve code quality and productivity.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for software development and operational processes.
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives focused on software engineering modernization and automation.
• Software Quality & Security
  • Develop secure applications by incorporating secure coding standards and best practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Perform code reviews and participate in peer-review processes.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
  • Participate in vulnerability remediation, application security assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure software solutions meet performance, reliability, maintainability, and security requirements.
• DevOps & Software Delivery
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
  • Utilize source control, branch management, release management, and deployment automation tools.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to support automated testing and release validation.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and team members.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the IT enterprise application development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software application development experience in enterprise environments.
• AWS Certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or related).
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting applications throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong proficiency in .NET / .NET Core, C, Python, TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript, REST APIs, MVC and modern web application architectures.
• Extensive experience with: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Amazon RDS.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting applications in AWS.
• Experience developing cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Experience using: GitHub Copilot, and other AI-assisted coding and development tools.
• Experience with: GitHub, Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Source control management, Release management tools, Bug and defect tracking systems, Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure issues.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in healthcare, accreditation, association management, or highly regulated environments.
