The requirement has been updated by the customer. We are now specifically looking for Alation candidates, and the skills mentioned below are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• User Access & Role Administration
  • Thorough understanding of Alation user access, roles, and permissions.
  • Experience in effectively managing and governing user roles and access.
  • Given the limited allocation of Alation Creator licenses, the candidate should have experience managing license distribution and assigning roles based on business requirements.
• Cloud Integration Experience
  • Hands-on experience integrating and supporting Alation within an enterprise cloud environment is mandatory.
• Alation 0.2 Feature Expertise
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of the recent Alation capabilities deployed in our environment, specifically:
    • Critical Data Element (CDE) Manager
    • Built-in Data Quality (DQ), along with open-source/third-party DQ integrations
    • Curation Automation
    • AI Studio
    • Data Products & Data Product Marketplace
• Data Quality (DQ) Integration
  • Hands-on knowledge/experience integrating external DQ tools and metrics directly into Alation.
  • Understanding of how DQ integrations support a Data Mesh architecture will be an important requirement.
