Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Full Stack Liferay Developer with strong expertise in React and Liferay DXP 7.3 to join a 12-month project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise-level Java development, Liferay portal implementation, and modern React-based front-end development.

This role requires a technically strong professional who can lead development activities, design scalable portal solutions, build headless applications, and manage end-to-end delivery across the Liferay back end and React front end.

The candidate must have substantial hands-on experience with Liferay DXP 7.3, enterprise integrations, application architecture, and distributed development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on full stack development using Liferay DXP 7.3, Java/J2EE, and React.
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-level Liferay portals and digital experience solutions.
• Build decoupled and headless React applications that integrate with Liferay APIs, including REST, GraphQL, and Headless Delivery APIs.
• Develop and maintain Liferay portlets, custom themes, layouts, web content management features, and reusable components.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Work with Liferay Client Extensions, JavaScript widgets, and Custom Elements.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reusable backend services using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and OSGi.
• Integrate Liferay with enterprise applications and third-party systems through REST APIs, web services, and other integration mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, architects, and distributed development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical designs, architecture documentation, development estimates, and implementation plans.
• Establish and maintain unit, integration, and automated testing practices across the full stack.
• Manage source code, builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven/Gradle, npm/Yarn, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize application performance, and ensure code quality and platform stability.
• Configure and administer Liferay environments across development, testing, and production.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, review code, and ensure adherence to architecture standards and development best practices.
• Implement appropriate logging, audit trails, usage metrics, and analytics capabilities.

• Location: Remote (Candidates from Pune, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore are also welcome for hybrid opportunities)

• Work Shift: 12:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST
• Certification: Liferay Certification preferred/required as per project requirements
